Yes, you can do something!
This is a simple meditation that can make a world of difference for your child and for your relationship with your child.
Since this is a meditative, contemplative process, I recommend that you do this when you can clear your mind of other activities and concerns.
- Do not multi-task while doing this.
- Give it your full attention.
As long as you spend some time doing this as a focused meditation, you can then also do it while walking, driving, exercising, cooking, or doing just about any other physical activity. But I recommend getting grounded in the meditation before adding it to other activities.
For best results, do this as a focused meditation three times a day:
- In the morning before getting out of bed.
- Sometime during the day while watching the video.
- At night before sleep.
If you can only do it once a day, that’s fine too.
Of course, any parent-child relationship will benefit deeply from the regular use of this meditation by the parent. All parents are invited to nourish the love with their children by using this meditation.
But I offer it here as a very precise and specific tool for the parents of children in the YOFA® Unconditional Love Project.
You can do this with or without the video. I recommend using the video at least once a day, especially in the beginning, to augment the power of the focus.
